Whether it is donning leopard-printed outfits for Halloween or wearing matching outfits for Christmas, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens always make their festive season one of a kind through their coordinated outfits. Following suit, the power couple once again took all the social media brownie points through their matching attire, as they celebrated their first Christmas together as a married couple.

Though the couple recently faced a minor backlash from the social media cult due to the NFL safety’s ‘catch’ comment, the couple made sure to not let the hate hinder their relationship. Hence, keeping the scrutiny aside, the gymnast and the Green Bay Packers Defensive Line decided to embrace the festive season on a positive note.

As the jingle bells chimed in, Simone Biles took to her Instagram to post an adorable picture with Jonathan Owens. The image showcased the couple wearing matching outfits. Both of them were clad in comfy red, black, and bluish-white plaid co-ord sets. The image showed Biles comfortably perched on Owens’ lap while he had his arms wrapped around her.

Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles got themselves clicked completely lost in a ‘well-plaid’ moment. A pretty and elegant white Christmas tree could also be seen in the background, further beautifying the picture. Adding the caption, the gymnast penned, “MERRY CHRISTMAS.”

This is the first Christmas celebration for the couple after they got married in April this year. Simone Biles had previously flown from Texas to visit Owens in Wisconsin to celebrate Thanksgiving with him. 

Simone Biles fans absolutely cherish the cute moments, the 6x all-around world gymnastics champion shares with the Owens. However, a huge chunk of her fanbase has turned against the Green Bay Packers safety after he pulled off the curtains from the dynamics of initial days of dating the gymnast.

The flow of conversation naturally flowed toward the early dating life of the gymnast and the NFL safety. However, while telling their story, the Packers’ safety said, “I always say that the men are the catch.”
