It seems like just yesterday when gymnastics legend Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens were getting married in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Their wedding, which was a dreamy affair, was the culmination of a 3-year-long relationship that started in August 2020. As the love has grown exponentially between the two, Simone Biles recently wished her hubby their one-month anniversary.

For the past month or so, Simone Biles has been living in wedding bliss. The newly married has taken every opportunity to share her wedding experience with her fans, pictures from which are all over her Instagram. Now, joyous about their one-month anniversary, she shared the same with her fans.

7x Olympic medalist Simone Biles recently took to her Instagram and wrote, “One month into forever loving you”, which was followed by an emoji of two hands forming a heart. While she didn’t explicitly write about their wedding, she inferred it. She also shared a stunning picture of the two of them dressed in white and holding each other. The background was glistening-white, with a dry tree with branches in the middle of it. The picture looked as dreamy as their wedding itself.

But Biles’ love for Jonathan Owens isn’t just a month-old matter. Although the two started dating in August 2020, they were engaged within exactly 18 months in February 2022.

The signs were clear that Biles and Owens had found ‘The One’ in each other. Their wedding was the only decisive thing that remained to seal their relationship. As months passed and fans looked for hints regarding the supposed date of her wedding, news came more than a year into their engagement.

Biles and Owens’s destination wedding was something out of a dream

On April 22, 2023, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens exchanged vows at a courthouse in Texas. They were officially Mr. and Mrs. after that. But it wasn’t until another month that they would get married in a grand fashion in Mexico.

In early May this year, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens flew off to Mexico for their destination wedding. Their friends, family, and a whole entourage of relatives from both sides attended the wedding this time. It was a grand affair, and festivities followed for a long time. The couple even got their ‘dental blings’ custom-made by Johnny Dang & Co to wear at their wedding. They had a ton of fun during their wedding festivities.

Right after their wedding, news about Jonathan Owens’ move from Houston Texans to Green Bay Packers came out. As Owens is currently in Wyoming owing to his NFL commitments, Biles is currently missing her husband. She wished them a happy anniversary amidst his absence. But as the proverbial adage goes, ‘Distance makes the heart grow fonder’. It could just be true for Biles and Owens.
