As dreamy as Simone Biles‘s wedding to Jonathan Owens was, it wouldn’t have meant the same for her had she not worn that ring on her finger. Simone Biles wore an engagement ring worth $300,000 at her wedding, gifted by her then-fiance Jonathan Owens. Just like every other expensive item of hers, it soon became fodder for social media, and the jeweler ZoFrost came into the limelight. Now, months after selling the expensive diamond-encrusted wedding ring to Owens, ZoFrost again gains attention for selling yet another expensive item to the gymnast’s fellow Olympian.

The gold medal winner in the women’s artistic individual all-around event at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, Suni Lee recently paid a visit to the same jeweler and splurged on an item that looked expensive and yet remained priceless.

Suni Lee’s pendant has a nod to the Olympics

Suni Lee wrote on her Instagram story, “u guysss… thank you @zofrost! the…” with an emoji of a goat, thus calling ZoFrost the greatest jeweler of all time. In between her caption, she also put two cat-faced emojis with heart-shaped eyes. What she bought was a diamond pendant, with diamond crusts sprinkled all around it. It was glittering throughout.

However, keen-eyed observers might note that the design at the front of the necklace was that of the Olympic symbol. Five perfectly round rings intertwined with each other were shaped like the five variedly-colored rings of the Olympic symbol. It represented her association with the Olympics and how close the tournament is to her heart.

In her next story, she displayed her pendant glistening even under the dimmest of lights. Suni Lee’s splurge on the diamond pendant wasn’t exactly known, but it couldn’t have been anything less than expensive. More than a month ago, Simone Biles too posted an Instagram story where she showed off her engagement ring to her fans. In that picture, the diamond ring was glittering under a single ray of sunlight that emanated from a window pane. Her then-fiance Jonathan Owens shared her story on his Instagram account. The diamond was oval-shaped and was set on a diamond pave band. It was a huge sale for ZoFrost that month.
