Jonathan Owens is shining in the NFL

Owens has been a part of the National Football league since 2018. Unfortunately, due to several circumstances and injuries in the past, Owens never played a full regular season as a starter for any team.

However, this year was different for him, as the footballer became a starter for the Houston Texans. The Texans’ safety did not take this opportunity for granted, as he delivered a stellar performance for his team throughout the season. In one of his recent tweets, ESPN reporter DJ Bien-Aime said, “In Owens’ first full season as a starter he’s been a tackling machine.”

So far in the 2022-23 season, the defensive back has had 97 tackles and is currently tied for the 17th place for most tackles this season. Owens is also leading the Texans leaderboard for the same. However, it does not stop here. Overall, it has not been a great season for the Houston Texans who stand fourth in the AFC South division. Despite a disappointing performance from the team, Owens is still having a progressive season.
