Simone Biles needs no formal introduction. With 25 World Championship medals and four Olympic Gold medals under her belt, she is widely regarded as the greatest gymnast of all time. Simone was only six years old when she started her journey as a gymnast. Since then, she has not just grown strong professionally but also personally.

On Valentine’s eve, Simone took everyone by surprise when she formally announced her engagement to NFL star Jonathan Owens. But Owen’s is not the only NFL connection that Simone has. There is more to Simone’s NFL story!

In an archived picture from July 2017, Simone Biles is seen smiling at the cameras alongside wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Posing for the frame, the two were caught in a happy mood.

Sharing the picture over Instagram, Simone wrote, “got to meet a SUPREME dude last night” In the said post, Simone also tagged the football legend. 

It was perhaps the two meeting at an event. Seeing the two sporting legends together, some fans got excited. While some loved the picture, some wished for them to start dating. Taking some major hints from the photo, one of the fans commented, “wait, they would actually be such a cute couple. Please date”

Though Simone never officially commented on her equation with Odell, the two remain cordial to each other. However, for Simone, her NFL connection grew stronger as she fell for Jonathan Owens.

Simone’s and Jonathan’s unique love story

Simone and Owens officially met via a dating app. Though the pandemic and consequent shutdowns made it challenging to meet in person, thanks to the virtual space and social media, the two youngsters got the opportunity to know more about each other.

Finding him “pretty cute,” it was Simone who made the first move. Since that day, the two are getting stronger in their relationship. Talking about the initial interactions, Simone told the Wall Street Journal that they started “chatting a little bit,” and then a week or two later, they went to hang out.
