Olivia Dunne’s major contribution to LSU’s victory

To celebrate the ecstatic victory of LSU’s gymnastics team, Olivia Dunne took to her official Instagram account and posted a snip from the showdown wherein she showcased some incredible flexes and moves. Alongside the pictures, she penned, “Taking it all in:) #lsu #gymnastics #tumbling.” The major reason for being under the spotlight with the team is Olivia’s recent achievement, wherein she secured 9.900 in the leadoff spot on floor routines during the Podium Challenge. She secured a triumphant score by tying her previous career high of 9.90, secured back in 2022 in a showdown against Alabama.

Riding on the performances of Olivia Dunne and others, the LSU squad posed two records on that night. The team marked their highest program NQS with a new school record of 198.125. This is the first time the Tigers scored 198+ scores. The other one was that they set a new program floor NQS after scoring 49.675 in the meet. This improved their NQS to 49.695. It is the highest floor NQS in LSU and NCAA history. Amid this triumph, anticipations are brewing around the status of Olivia Dunne in the next season.

However, for now, Olivia only stated how she enjoyed her time at LSU. She also indicated that this season has been one of the most enjoyable ones. “The way this team gets along with one another is not like anything else…This year has been a blast,” the 21-year-old said.
