Recently, Livvy took to her TikTok page to share her literal view of ‘trying to understand’ ice hockey. A backing response from the fans and a warm welcome from the team later, the 21-year-old has a new wish on the list for year-end wants, hoping to subsume the sport inside out.

On Saturday, December 23rd, the New Jersey Devils took on the Detroit Red Wings at the Prudential Center to secure a 3-2 win. Olivia Dunne, a native of New Jersey, found herself at the game despite knowing little about the happenings of the sport. Nonetheless, with the spirit of home turf, Livvy stood to cheer while also receiving a shout-out from the team. “Doing cartwheels because @livvydunne is @prucenter tonight!” the NJ Devils wrote sharing an Instagram post. Now days later, the SI Swimsuit model has playfully expressed a wish to join the team with a new Instagram update.

Olivia Dunne, sporting the colors of the home team, wrote, “Put me in coach,” hoping to take on a new hobby ahead of the NCAA season and to possibly materialize it as a new years’ wish as well. Livvy, who made her gymnastics junior elite debut at age 12, might, however, find a slow pace on the ice rink. During the Devils’ game last weekend, Olivia Dunne shared a TikTok of her on the stands of Prudential Center. The clip initially showed a confused Livvy with her eyes on the rink. The video further shifted to the game on the ground and back with the gymnast’s POV. Olivia Dunne, new to the game, wrote, “Just a baseball girlie trying to understand ice hockey.”Additionally, the caption read, “What the puck is going on” with an intended parody. Nonetheless, despite the cluelessness, the social media sensation stepped ahead to cheer the home team for a win.
