However, she did not expect her glittering routine on the beam from two years back to catch the eye of a musical genius.

Following her Olympic triumph, Sunisa Lee’s fame soared unencumbered to bring in more allies. In her recent tryst with musical icon Snoop Dogg, Suni Lee received unprecedented praise for her gymnastics métier. Here’s what happened.

When Sunisa Lee entered into an interracial relationship with USC football player Jaylin Smith, many in the Hmong community questioned her judgment. However, the Auburn star quickly won them over by forming an unbelievable alliance with Snoop Dogg through Smith.

Now, almost a year later, that concord is still going strong. Recently, the ‘Gin and Juice’ singer raised a toast to the gymnastics ace on the X platform. In a surprising mish-mash of Olympics meets hip hop, Snoop Dogg expressed his admiration for Sunisa Lee’s talents.

The video of their meet and greet session was uploaded on Dogg’s X page with the caption, “Yup, it’s official. 2024 Paris Olympics I’m there!! @miketirico, save a seat for the Dogg”.

Skipping the pleasantries, Snoop Dogg dived right into the crux of Sunisa Lee’s tricks on the beam. Although quite hilariously, the rap star called it a “little bitty piece of wood”.

He brought out a picture of Lee performing an “aerial” move on the apparatus, which induced feelings of wonder in him. However, to Sunisa Lee, who once had to “delete Twitter” to focus on the beam, this was nothing out of the ordinary. Surprisingly, Snoop Dogg’s conviction to attend the Games in Paris had more than one reason.

Snoop Dogg’s bold support for Olympians

Snoop Dogg’s obsession with gold plays out both on the ornamental and musical silhouettes of his personality. Therefore, he could not deny the allure of watching the U.S. athletes carve out their sporting desires in golden glory. Speaking to basketball legend A’Ja Wilson, he said, “gold is the goal”. He also welcomed the New Year with decorated members of the multi-sport hemispheres, starting with skateboarder Jagger Eaton.

Dogg studied his stupendous “backside 540°,” but his attention was later diverted to the epic celebratory shot of world beachball champions Kelly Cheng and Sara Hughes.
