On August 15, Olympic gymnast MyKayla Skinner posted an update on her growing baby bump on Instagram. The athlete posted a photo wearing a black gown with the caption, “Feeling my glow. Only 6 weeks left.”?Further, the gymnast also asked her fans in the caption to “guess baby girl’s name.” Skinner had announced her pregnancy back in March with her husband, a business developer named Jonas Harmer. The gymnast had posted a surprise post on Instagram announcing her pregnancy with the caption, “We have been keeping the biggest secret and can?t believe we are going to be parents.”

Since announcing this joyful news, the gymnast has kept her fans updated. Skinner has also posted a few snaps of her gender reveal party and a few photoshoots flaunting her baby bump. Amid these celebrations, the athlete’s friend Simone Biles also congratulated her on Instagram. The gymnastics queen penned down the comment, “Congrats So happy for y’all!!!!!!” on her surprise announcement post. Both gymnasts seem to share a lovely bond, especially after Skinner replaced the gymnast at the all-around event.

The athlete decided to participate in the vault finals to support her friend as she focused on her mental health. Skinner got the chance of making a comeback after, not qualifying for the vault by securing the fourth position on the podium. Following this replacement gymnastics icon, Simone Biles posted a heartfelt shout-out for the gymnast on Twitter.

While talking about the support provided by Simone Biles in an interview with Access Hollywood, the athlete revealed, “I texted her that night, and I was like I?m crying, I can’t keep it in.” Further, skinner added, “I talked to her this morning, and she was like, I’m just going to let you be, soaking it all in. Definitely, a lot of tears shedded last night? ”
