In recent events, few gymnasts have been able to equal Qiu’s degree of difficulty. Even experienced competitors, like her World’s uneven bars rival Kaylia Nemour, struggled to keep up, scoring substantially lower (13.400) on the uneven bars at the International Gymnastics Federation’s Doha World Cup on April 20. The technical complexity of this apparatus includes body difficulties, apparatus mastery, and creativity with a maximum D score of 10.0 points!

Since her senior international debut, Qiu’s uneven bars routine has been consistent. From sixth place in the Doha World Cup to gold at the Baku World Cup, she has always upped the standard for her opponents. Her contributions were crucial in clinching victory for her team at the 2023 Asian Championships, where she also won the all-around gold medal. With each victory, she polished her talents, building the groundwork for a dominant performance at the 2023 World Championships.
