Simone Biles nailed it again, but without crediting Jonathan Owens, Biles is incomplete! The U.S. women’s gymnastics team for the 2024 Paris Olympics has been revealed. Leading the charge is the real freak of nature, Simone Biles, whom we saw today on June 30th. She secured her spot with a dominant performance at the U.S. Olympic trials, earning a two-day all-around total of 117.225. and finally moved to her third Olympics. During a post-interview, the interviewer asked,You’ve talked about being a big cheerleader for your husband and watching him play. What’s it like having him here, especially seeing that video of him going crazy watching your routine?” Simone Biles continued to show support for her husband Jonathan Owens, who pursued his NFL dreams last year, while he reciprocated this year by supporting her passionately.

This was evident when Jonathan Owens was caught on camera at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships in Fort Worth on June 2nd, meticulously jotting down the scores of all athletes on his piece of paper while Biles performed her routines.

In her response to the question, Biles expressed deep appreciation, highlighting the joy of supporting each other’s pursuits. She remarked, “It’s amazing. I think it’s super exciting that we get to be in each other’s elements, supporting each other’s dreams and goals. These memories that we make will never come back, so anytime we can show up for one another and support, we get super excited. Our schedules don’t align that much, so whenever they do, it’s really important for both of us to show up and support each other.”

Last year, when Jonathan Owens, now a safety for the Chicago Bears, was with the Green Bay Packers, Biles wholeheartedly cheered for him from the stands throughout the NFL season 2023. On Instagram during that time, Biles wrote, “Love supporting you & your dreams,” to which Owens replied, “Love having you there every step of the way.”But that’s not all! Biles even was seen sporting a black leather jacket with “Green Bay,” showing her support.

On Jan. 20, after Green Bay’s 21-24 loss to San Francisco, Biles celebrated her husband’s return home following a busy NFL season. “What a season,” Biles wrote on her Instagram Stories, alongside a video of herself and Owens kissing on the sidelines. Biles and Owens have been navigating a long-distance relationship since Owens signed with the Packers in May 2023.

However, at the U.S. Classic in May, Owens attended Biles’s event, marking a special moment since their marriage. However, it was the first time he supported Biles in person. Unfortunately, during Biles’ comeback after the twisties incident last year, Jonathan Owens wasn’t there in the stands to cheer her on due to work commitments. Now, the big question arises: will Owens be there in Paris to support her?

Love to strengthen in the city of lights between Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens tied the knot on April 22, 2023, at the Harris County Courthouse in Houston. Since then, they have been navigating a long-distance relationship due to their busy schedules. However, in an episode of the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast earlier this year, Simone Biles shared her hopes for Jonathan Owens’ presence at the upcoming Olympics.

Expressing a mix of anticipation and excitement, Biles said, “Hopefully he gets to go because that’s usually their training camp time. He’s also working on a new contract, so hopefully he can negotiate a couple of days off. Even if it’s just a personal day.” She hinted at the potential flexibility with the Chicago Bears, noting, “Some teams are very supportive with family matters, more so than others. So, fingers crossed we’ll get to see him in the stands.” Looking ahead, it’s clear that Jonathan Owens will be there to continue supporting her this year.

Speaking about Owens’ presence in Paris, Biles shared with the audience, “The Bears are actually granting him a couple of days off from training camp so he’ll be there, yes, just for a short time,” as reported by USA Today’s Nancy Armour. This Olympics marks the first time Biles will compete since marrying Owens. Are you excited to see Owens cheering for Biles in Paris? Comment below and let us know!
