The wedding bells are ringing at Simone Biles and Jonathan Owen’s household. The ‘power couple’ is preparing for their upcoming ceremony in full fledge while the fans await the official wedding date. However, amidst all the happy and positive atmosphere, both Biles and Owens have bid farewell to their wedding rings.

Although it may seem like sad news, it actually indicates that the couple’s marriage ceremony is near and not a breakup. Here is what the gymnast recently shared on her social media.

In her recent Instagram story, Biles featured her fiance, who held two black-colored ring boxes in his hand. Biles captioned the video and wrote, “next we see our wedding bands will be at the wedding🤍”

The video was on mute, but Owens first kissed the two boxes and later held them toward Biles for her to do the same. Although it seems like a sad farewell, it is temporary.

On last year’s Valentine’s Day [February 14th], the NHL star had proposed to Biles for marriage, and of course, the gymnast had eagerly said, “YES”. Biles and Owens met during the Covid-19 lockdown and have been dating since then.

The two soon became an internet-famous couple who do not shy away from posting some PDA on their social media. And since their proposal post on Instagram, fans have been keenly waiting to know when the couple’s ‘big day’ will be.
