Simone Biles the decorated gymnast, turned 27 on March 14. The Pisces baby however postponed the celebration towards the weekend, sneaking off to Houston with her husband Jonathan Owens on March 16-17. And, she kept the fans in the loop, giving updates about her engagements, and relaxed celebrations.

Simone Biles’ birthday celebration was indeed an intimate affair. Sharing a perfect evening with her husband, Jonathan Owens, Biles revealed the surprise planned by him which gives off major couple goals.

Romantic getaway to Houston for the 27th

Simone Biles dropped aesthetic birthday snaps on her Instagram account. She captioned the images, “365 days but this one is mine.” Biles cherished the thoughtful surprise from her husband, ready for the date night on her birthday. Donning a black dress, with sparkling butterflies interspersed on it, she was dazzling in the outfit. The couple was enjoying a “birthday weekend” getaway at a spectacular hotel in Houston, Texas. Biles also featured the Houston makeup artist, Shea for the glamorous makeup.

The photos from her celebrations also give an inside view of the decorated hotel room. It features a beautiful pink cake with roses and butterflies, with similar-themed cupcakes and champagne. The free-spirited butterflies seemed to be the theme of the birthday. Balloons also lifted the ethereal look of the romantic celebrations planned by Owens, alongside the champagne glasses.

Owens cherishes the bond with his wife

Jonathan Owens penned a special message for his wife, unveiling the depth of emotions on her D-day. He wrote on his Instagram, “Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul, my amazing wife. So crazy to me how life aligns you with the person that you’re meant to be with, you’ve made me a better man in so many ways i can’t explain it.” He further talked about their bond, and his commitment “to support you every step along the way.” Biles had also reacted to it, writing, “obsessed with you husband.”

Owens recently signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Bears. He was previously drafted by the Green Bay Packers for one year. The couple began their love story in March 2020 after they met through the dating app Raya. They got married in April 2023 in an intimate courthouse ceremony in Texas.

Overwhelmed with her husband’s loving gesture, Simone Biles is now living the moments from her birthday once again through the photographs.
