Made popular by the iconic sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S., this song already made their followers gush about how Nedoroscik’s final performance could be an emotional rollercoaster. But dark clouds are forming on the horizon thanks to one K-pop sensation.

While Stephen and Rylee will be using the nostalgic number for their quickstep routine, TV star Chandler Kinney and her dancing partner Brandon Armstrong have selected APT by Bruno Mars and Rose. Rose is a member and the lead dancer of the widely popular K-pop group Blackpink. With the information coming to the fore, one fan took to the Subreddit group r/dancingwiththestars on November 23 to claim, “Chandler will be for sure getting votes now“.

After Stephen’s incredible Parisian campaign from earlier this year, the Penn State alum Stephen Nedoroscik is currently enjoying massive popularity in his country. However, taking into account the widespread existence of K-pop fans everywhere, many believe that the Olympian might struggle to win the competition.

One Redditor in the comment section also chimed in claiming that such groups have an incredible number of followers in the US and that could become a determining factor at the DWTS finals. The fan claimed that they have “been praying” for the K-pop army to show up and tip the scales next week and help Kinney and Armstrong lift the trophy. “Many groups have strong fanbases here in the U.S.,” the fan reminded others, making it easy to comprehend that Nedoroscik will have to run for his money’s worth. And yet, fans on Reddit are convinced that the K-pop craze could counter Nedoroscik’s chances of winning the DWTS title. “Chandler winning because of the K-pop community would be quite the most hilarious plot twist in the history of this show,” noted one fan, while another seemed to be praying with all their heart so that this turns into a reality. “Manifesting,” stated the fan.

Referring to how Kinney’s smart move to use Blackpink’s song for the finale, another Redditor also claimed it could prove to be a boon of a decision. “She can genuinely win on the blink votes alone ngl!,” reads the comment of the fan. Over the past few months, watching the Olympian make waves with his groovy steps has been a joy for his followers, but this time, Nedoroscik might be looking at factors he didn’t take into consideration previously.
