Being part of the USA Gymnastics for over a decade has made Jordan Chiles and Suni Lee a seasoned athlete. Chiles’ consistent gymnastic wins and podium finishes have secured her a position in the Olympic roster, alongside the World Championships and Pan-American Games. Now, fresh off her 2023 Pan-Am team gold win, Chiles has embarked on her Secret Santa journey to surprise her teammates, days after Christmas.

One of her closest teammates, Suni Lee, who believes in propelling “young girls to follow their dreams as athletes”, has bonded with Chiles on the global stage. But their comradeship went beyond competition. Despite 2023 being a tough year for Lee due to her kidney-related issues, gifts never stopped landing at her doorstep. On a similar note, she received a unique billion-dollar gift from Chiles recently.

Suni Lee, the 2020 Olympic all-around champion, met with some health issues in 2023. After her US National Championships display, she mindfully withdrew herself from the 2023 Worlds. But she has the back of her fellow US gymnasts. So, as a belated Christmas gift, Jordan Chiles decided to surprise her with a gym wear and a pair of accessories. But interestingly, the emblem was a combination of Nike’s iconic swoosh and Chiles’ JC. While unboxing the package, Lee wrote a praise note for the 22-year-old, which read, “@jordanchiles you outdid yourself w this one.”

The $174.59 billion brand and the 2022 World vault silver medalist had teamed up in June 2023. Since then, the Olympian has not lived a moment away from her beloved brand. As per her Instagram feed, from jamboree wear to pajamas, every outfit of Jordan Chiles is a shout out to Nike. Coming to Suni Lee, she may have missed out on the events this year, but her history with ‘Chick’ travels back to NCAA and a common brand partnership.

GK Elite – The nexus between Lee and Chiles

Since both Chiles and Lee are NCAA athletes, owing to the NIL deal updates, Reading-based GK Elite had joined hands with the collegiate gymnasts. Brand partners shoulder a responsibility to promote the brand, so they had designed several Signature Collection of GK Elite each. Since 2021, both of their journey with the brand have been strong.

Now, both have their sights set on the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
