Sunisa Lee didn’t retain her individual all-around gold at Paris 2024. However, with a team all-around gold and two bronze medals, Lee found the redemption she hoped for. Now, with fond memories of the Paris Olympics behind her, Suni Lee has allowed herself to indulge in other pursuits, such as attending New York Fashion Week and the US Open.

“Thank you @brandonmaxwell and @walmartfashion for having me… “ the 21-year-old wrote in her Instagram post. The two-time Olympic gold medalist wore a beautiful black dress adorned with lavender and white flower motifs. The dress was part of Walmart Fashion’s exclusive Scoop lineup by designer Brandon Maxwell. However, Lee wasn’t alone.

Three-time Olympic gold medalist and U.S. Gymnastics icon Aly Raisman joined forces with Lee. “Fashion Week moments w/ @sunisalee_,” USAG’s official X page wrote while giving fans glimpses of the two Olympians dressed in all black, with constating purses. Raisman sported a bright pink ‘Burn Book’ purse while Suni Lee carried a golden clamshell-shaped one.

However, Lee kept things minimal with the Scoop dress, pairing it with a jet-black Prada handbag. However, mere hours after gracing the New York Fashion Week, the Pris 20204 gold medalist was off to the US Open final. The Tokyo 2020 all-around champion posted a story of the empty court inside the Arthur Ashe Stadium from the stands.

While Suni Lee didn’t say who she rooted for, it may be safe to assume that she hoped to see USA’s own Jessica Pegula hoist the US Open trophy. However, that’s not what happened as Belarussian tennis star Aryna Sabalenka bested her American opponent. The 26-year-old claimed her first US Open, and third Grand Slam, defeating Pegula in two 7-5 straight sets.

The 21-year-old’s final Instagram story showed her literally driving into the sunset after an eventful day. However, Lee and Raisman were far from the only Olympians who graced the New York Fashion Week.

Noah Lyles and Suni Lee’s teammate shows up on day one

While Team USA’s gymnastics star attended the weeklong event, Paris 2024 100-meter gold medalist Noah Lyles took it one step further. The sprinting sensation made his NYFW runway debut in his sponsor Adidas’ SS25 collection created in collaboration with Willy Chavarria. His girlfriend and Jamaican sprinter Junelle Bromfield accompanied the Olympic medalist.

Lyles’ outfit was quite unconventional, to say the least. The sprinter wore a bandana with the America written on it. However, he went shitless, flaunting six-pack abs, in a pair of white Adidas shorts, calf-length socks, sneakers, and a white arm sleeve. Besides Noah Lyles, Suni Lee’s teammate and fellow gold medalist Jordan Chiles also showed up on day one.

Chiles arrived at the NYFW wearing an oversized tan denim jacket and cargo pant combo. The gymnast completed her street-fashion look with black shades, clean braids, and her signature long nails. With Suni Lee, Aly Raisman, Noah Lyles, Jordan Chiles, and many more showing, it seems the sporting world is going all in at this year’s New York Fashion Week.
