Yet, Biles is only human. Thus, quite like any other human, she has few fears and flaws. For an interview that Simone Biles did with Athleta for a collab on their sportswear line, her fears were revealed. Biles, along with her close ones, like her mother and younger sister, did a section called Meet The Real Simone Biles for the company.

Overall, the interview had an easygoing and candid tone where Biles’s teammate, her mother, her sister and others opened up about certain aspects and practices of her. Most of them were gushing about the athlete’s achievements. It was during this session that a surprising similarity between both Biles and Michael Phelps.

Simone Biles opens up about a fear

As strange as it sounds, both Biles, and the record-breaking Swimmer Phelps, share a mutual fear of snakes. This tidbit was shared by Simone’s Agent Janey Miller. In the interview, when asked about a tip that Simone gives and follows for herself, she shared something intriguing. She said, “Face your Fears. When Simone is afraid of anything she makes herself work through it.”

One thing’s a sure deal, no force can stop Biles. Sure, just like Phelps, she has her fair share of doubters and nay-sayers, but she is not the one to let them get under her skin.
