The star gymnast has a deep passion for putting content on social media and gymnastics. She married both her interests and became the highest-paid NCAA athlete. However, it was not so easy for Dunne because at first people in her university thought she was just an influencer.

Recently, Olivia Dunne appeared in a podcast interview with Twin Talks hosted by fellow college athletes and influencers Haley and Hanna Cavinder. She opened up about how she went from ?no one? to ?the one? in her university.

Olivia Dunne shared about her recognition journey at LSU
Olivia Dunne, also known as ?Livvy? began gymnastics at the age of 3 at ENA Gymnastics. When she was 11, she became the youngest USA International Elite gymnast. Nevertheless, in 2017, she won the gold medal with the USA Junior National Team.

Although gymnastics became her first love, Livvy developed a liking for Instagram also. She downloaded the social media app when she was ten years old and was fascinated by it. Initially, she gathered about 100,000 followers on Instagram by just posting her gymnastics video. Things escalated for the better during COVID when she joined TikTok. Livvy had a great time amassing a larger fan base on her social media. However, when she got into Louisiana State University in 2020, most people did not recognize her as a gymnast.?She told in the podcast, “I came to LSU right after COVID and most people didn’t even know I actually did gymnastics. People thought I was just a full-time beach flipper. People had no clue I actually did college sports.”

Everyone took some time to process her appearance both as an influencer and a passionate gymnast. Eventually, with her impeccable gymnastics skills, she achieved great recognition at LSU. Today, Livvy continues to soar high as a gymnast and an influencer. Apart from her 7.3 million followers on TikTok, she also has a fan following of 3.7 million on her Instagram.
