Coaching the Gator uneven bar performers, Coach Owen Field made an appreciation post on his official X account, praising his trained athlete. A known collegiate gymnast, Trinity Thomas has been a 4x National Team member of the USA. Having a career record of 28 number of 10.0 seconds, the Gator student has recently proved her metal.
Doing the All-Around and coming 4th in the Elite meet, it was wonderful to see Trinity Thomas’s victory unfold after her comeback from her recovery. Acknowledging her return after her injury on the uneven bars, coach Owen Field is glad to be associated with her through her journey.

NCAA gymnast, Trinity Thomas makes coach Owen Field proud
The winner of the 2022 and 2023 Honda Awards as a collegiate gymnast, Trinity Thomas recently made coach Owen Field proud. Posing with another head coach and a Brevet-level judge, Jenny Rowland, Trinity Thomas outperformed making 53.25 points in the 2024 Winter Cup in Louisville. Calling it a ‘dang thing’, Owen Field highlights the spectacular performance showcased by the NCAA gymnastics record holder. This claims to be the NCAA gymnast’s fourth consecutive US Senior National Team spot at the 2019 US Championships.

As the University of Florida’s all-time leader with 30 impressive all-around wins, Trinity Thomas has earned a spot at the 2024 US Championships. By leading the first major competition of the 2024 Olympic year, this could pave the way to the Paris Olympics for the accomplished Gator gymnast.
The Story Beyond the Winter Cup
After her exemplary exhibition in the Winter Cup 2024, Trinity Thomas eyes on the upcoming Paris Olympics. The NCAA gymnastics All-Around star spoke to the Inside Gymnastics magazine, “There is one more dream that I’ve always had. And it’s been cut short a couple of times. I’m glad that I get the opportunity to come back to Elite Gymnastics with my eyes set on Paris 2024.”
Being a pathway to the 2024 Paris Olympics, the US Championships determines how Team USA’s qualifiers will be placed in the Nationals. Based on the results, international assignments would be granted to the fresh qualifiers for the upcoming International Gymnix. The 30th edition of the International Gymnix will be held on March 6 to 10, 2024!
