From September 30 to October 8, the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championship witnessed several history-making moments for the gymnasts. Among them, the most decorated gymnast in the US, Simone Biles, stood atop with her sixth World all-around champion title. Besides, she also clinched the team, floor, and balance beam victories. But before she made her winning strides, she had worked as a prophetess for the US men’s gymnasts.

Ending the longest global medal drought in more than two decades, the US men walked home with the team bronze. Among the notable athletes, the Seoul-born Yul Moldauer elevated his team’s performance by contributing scores on pommel horse, parallel bars, floor exercise, and rings. But according to Biles’ statements, is there a chance for him to make it big next year?

Simone Biles alerts her fanbase to ‘watch out’

Besides gymnastics, Simone Biles has gained popularity in keeping her fans hooked on her GRWM videos. Similarly, she posted a video before her Worlds podium training with some truths up her sleeves. Firstly, she complained about insufficient bathroom lights for shooting videos. Next up, she shed light on “so hard to train on hard surfaces for two weeks… should have softer landing mats.” Following, she continued, “we share the ARC with the US men and yesterday they were in there getting treatment. Watch out for them.”

It seems like whatever the Olympian had prophesied; the world has gotten a taste of the men gymnasts’ brilliance at the Worlds this time. But coming back to the 27-year-old, his 2023 Core Hydration Classic displays had secured him a position at the Worlds stage. But even his previous performances were nothing short of phenomenal.

Yul the legendary gymnastic figure

The 27-year-old South Korea native has secured 8 golds at the Pan American Gymnastics Championships across 2022 and 2023. Moreover, he has bagged the 2023 Winter Cup victory in February. Followed by his 2023 Pan American Gymnastics Championship mat, where he triumphed on the floor, parallel bars and all-around. Interestingly, he also finished with silver on the horizontal bar and bronze on the pommel horse.
