With 25-World Championships and seven Olympic medals, GOAT Simone Biles is undeniably the most decorated gymnast in American history. Having won numerous awards and honors, the 25-year-old now has another honor to boast about. Considering what she has achieved, the CEO of the Royal Caribbean Group, Jason Liberty, named her the “godmother” of an incredible ship.

Updating on the same, Simone took to her official Instagram page earlier today to share an update. The gymnast maestro shared a short video on her Instagram profile providing several updates.

Simone keeps her fans updated 

For the unversed, Simone has been named the ‘Celebrity Beyond’ in Fort Lauderdale. With this, Simone joins Reshma Saujani of ‘Girls Who Code and Noble Laureate Mala Yousafzai. The two distinguished ladies were earlier named the ‘Godmother’ of ‘Celebrity Beyond’ sister ships, the ‘Celebrity Apex’ and ‘Celebrity Edge.’

Sharing more details with fans, the Olympian informs, “I am actually the Godmother.” She also added, “we are having a ceremony later.” Taking about being bestowed with the honor, Biles earlier said, “It is an honor to be selected as Beyond’s godmother and to join such a distinguished group of strong, barrier-breaking women who have been named as Celebrity’s godmothers before me.”

Simone also expressed gratitude for sharing the stage with “fellow brave, boundary-breaking leaders like Lisa-Lutoff Perlo and Capt. Kate McCue.” She is also appreciative of the message that the whole project wants to give out.

Being associated with the prestigious project, Simone “appreciates the important message this designation holds in recognizing our accomplishments as empowering women.”

Biles has been named to lists like the Ebony Power 100, Forbes 30 Under 30, and Time’s 100 Most Influential. Undeniably, Simone’s progressive nature, determination, empowered attitude, and grace in the face of hurdles and challenges inspire many around the world. Now, with one more added responsibility, the fans will see more of her taking up important roles.
