Recently, she partnered with Axonius Life for their initiative ‘Friends of the Children’. This initiative aims to support foster children mentally and emotionally. Since Simone is the perfect role model for these children, she got on board to provide some support. And fans are overjoyed to see it.

Fans stress the importance of Simone Biles’ gesture

As a part of the initiative, the star gymnast talked about the project in an Instagram post. She spoke about how she quickly adapted to changes since she had an incredible family to fall back on. However, not everyone has that privilege. Having a good family who would support an individual through thick and thin is difficult. That is where her project, in collaboration with Axonius Life, came into play.

Biles’ openness about the foster care system

Having experienced the foster care system closely in The States, Simone Biles has always been open about?criticizing the cracks in the system. She talked about how tough it is to get through the process while preparing for a different life. As a child, it’s not easy to adjust at every twist and turn.

The star also brought in the high expenses involved in fostering. The stipend provided may not be enough, and the process is emotionally challenging, too. Not to mention the various mental challenges that foster children go through throughout the process.
