Simone Biles, the top-tier gymnast, has carved her name in history with the 8th US title claim. The queen had to put down her crown for the ‘Twisties’ only to put it back on at her banging arrival. Since her setback at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, the 26-year-old made her victorious comeback at the US National Team Camp. The event boasted the gymnast’s skill sets after her phenomenal Yurchenko Double Pile vault. Not long after, she stood atop her routine at the US Classic, clinching the all-around win.
Further, the US Xfinity Gymnastics Championship in August witnessed Biles in all her glory. She does the unthinkable by clocking in at 103.050. Back on the mat with several accolades in her name, fans are rooting for her at the World Team selections camp this weekend. Now, the million-dollar question is bound to leave fans at the edge of their seats. Will Biles compete at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championship?

Forthcoming women’s world team selection camp
Here’s a brief about the Selection camp schedule. Firstly, the team competing will automatically save a position at the Pan American Games. Moreover, the weekend camp, about to be held in Katy, Texas, has a star line-up, in which the events will start at 5:50 pm CT on Day 1, and from 5:15 pm CT on Day 2. The first day of selection will have a range of routines, and the winner will qualify for the six-member team. According to the selection procedures, the Athletic Selection Committee will choose the rest 5 gymnasts, based on its criteria, proposing one gymnast as a traveling athlete.

The administration will announce the final team on September 20, asserting a nip-and-tuck competition ahead. But there’s a catch. The ASC will announce the name of the traveling athlete just 24 hours before commencement. All the listed athletes have had their moments on the big stage. Some specialize in vault, whereas some feel that their beam routine needs enhancement. Fans’ favorite Biles opted out of Yurchenko on Day 2 of the World Championships but smashed Jochim’s record like a veteran. The question is probably locating its answer now.
In addition to Biles, the US team includes the second all-around athlete in 2022, Shilese Jones, and the third all-around this season, Leanne Wong. Moreover, it also includes the five-time vault champion Jade Carey, the three-time silver medalist Skye Blakely, the Olympic silver medalist Jordan Chiles, and the reigning national vault champion Jocelyn Roberson from the US Xfinity Gymnastics Championship. But none beats the queen and her journey this year has been nothing short of remarkable.
