Preparing for the Olympic showdown

Jade Carey is training with the Oregon State Beavers to secure a berth on the U.S. squad for the Olympics. The great athlete found a renewed sense of determination after winning the gold in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Jordan Chiles, a fellow NCAA gymnast, is hoping to join her in Paris next year. She trains with the UCLA Bruins, but she will prepare for the Olympics in Simone Biles? family-owned gym. She spoke to International Gymnast in May 2023, announcing, ?I?ll be training in Texas all of 2024 for the Olympics?.?

Chiles has won just one silver medal so far. She hopes that by training in her best friend?s gym, she will be better prepared to snatch the elusive gold. Sunisa Lee has also returned to the gym after a kidney problem abruptly ended her gymnastics career at Auburn University. Last month, Lee declared, ?I will not stop pursuing my dreams for a bid to Paris in 2024?.
