Simone Biles has been a busy bee these days for reasons beyond gymnastics. Taking a break from her Olympic preparations, she can be seen cheering on her husband, Jonathan Owens. Owens plays as a safety for the Green Bay Packers in the NFL. Now, she championed a cause quite close to her. Having been one participant in Season 24 of the reality show Dancing With the Stars in 2017, she hopes to see her former dance partner win.

Sasha Farber, Simon Biles’ former dance partner, is paired with Alyson Hannigan for Season 32 of the show. The pair made their way to the finale, where they will face other stars Xochitl Gomez, Ariana Madix, Jason Mraz, and Charity Lawson. Should they win, it will be Farber’s first time lifting the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

The celebrated gymnast, widely considered the queen of her sport, hopes to see Sasha Farber finally win the coveted trophy. She shared a story on Instagram asking her fans to vote for the pair of Alyson Hannigan and Farber. She added the following words to that image, giving details of how to vote for Hannigan, “PLS VOTE FOR @sashafarber1. He deserves this!!!!”

Under Sasha Farber’s guidance, Alyson Hannigan lost 20 pounds and a lot of her insecurities. As she admitted to Entertainment Tonight, she came into the show with a lot of emotional baggage. It was also her first foray into dancing. She blossomed into a confident dancer soon after. As Farber put it, Hannigan now stands confidently on two feet.

The Australian-American dancer has been part of the show Dancing With the Stars for 12 seasons now. His stints with the gymnastics realm in the show are quite well-established. He has also been featured with the likes of Sunisa Lee and Mary Lou Retton in the show in the past. In fact, Simone Biles had great terms with Sasha Farber even after the show.

Simone Biles teamed up with him once more to choreograph her floor exercise routine for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
