NFL player Jonathan Owens confirmed his relationship with the gymnast, Simone Biles in August 2020. Since the two started dating, they have supported each other in all major decisions concerning their personal and professional lives.

In February 2022, Biles and Owens got engaged and have often mentioned one another in various interviews and on social media. In a Houston Texas interview with Deepi Sidhu and John Harris, Owens once opened up about how Biles inspires him.

Jonathan tells how Simone Biles inspires him

In the interview, Jonathan Owens was asked how the Tokyo Olympic Star Simone Biles inspired him. Jonathan responded by saying that he was grateful to have the opportunity to see everything from a behind-the-scenes perspective. He said that everyone saw the accolades she got, but they didn’t see the endless hours she spent working out.

Jonathan said she is the best for someone at the pinnacle of her sport. He sees how she carries herself, which teaches him a lot. He?said, “She’s in the pinnacle of her sport, you know just she’s the best you know?I get to see kind of how she carries herself and I learn a lot, teaches me a lot“.

Biles and Owens rely on each other

Despite competing in different sports, Biles and Owens share similar traits regarding managing their professional careers. In an?interview, Biles said that the two could always rely on one another for support.

Owens extended support to Biles when she withdrew from events at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 for her mental health. On the other hand, Biles was once seen holding drumsticks at his match. She once guided the whole cheerleading squad for him and wore a shirt with his name scribbled on the back.
