Sunny Choi is living her dream right now. After the 2024 Paris Olympics was revealed to host breakdancing as a competitive sport for the first time, Choi was named the first B-girl to travel to the French capital to entice the audiences with her breathtaking moves. Naturally, Choi was seen soon after making the most of the good news. However, it looks like Choi’s admirers extend beyond the realm of sports and spill over to the cast of the popular TV show Law & Order: SVU.

The famous show has been running since 1999 and is one of the most revered crime drama series on the planet. Along with the main stars of the show, many other popular actors, including the late Adam Braugher, Zeo Saldana, and Norman Reedus have graced the show from time to time. And now, it looks like celebrity rapper and the face of Odafin Tutuola from Law & Order is also struck by Choi’s exceptional b-boing skills.

In a Facebook post shared by the official Law & Order page, Choi can be seen grinning broadly as she shares a special moment with the Rhyme Pays singer. The original post was made by the NBC Olympics & Paralympics page, with the caption, “Breaking the ice with Ice T as Law & Order: SVU celebrates 25 years!” Choi met up with the cast of SVU at Hudson Yards last Tuesday where they looked dashing on the carpet.

Of all the cast of Law & Order: SVU, Ice T would probably be the last person to bond with Choi, some may think. But a deeper pondering into the matter might shed light on their shared cultural ideologies. Hip-hop and b-dancing have a long history, and it’s still debated as to which of these helped the other to become popular.

With Choi being the first b-girl from the USA to represent the culture on the biggest sporting stage, she probably had a lot to talk about when she came across one of the most prolific musicians from the scene. Choi is the latest addition to the revered portfolio of the attendees in the show.

Over its long and emphatic history, Law & Order has boasted some incredible names as guest stars. In the past, the 2016 Rio Olympics gold medalist gymnast Laurie Hernandez expressed her shock after being asked to guest star in the show. One take at a time

Growing up, I didn’t really have an interest in Olympic sports, but it was always something intriguing. As I found the means and the opportunity to explore its world, I found sports like volleyball, and track & field to be something that had tons to offer instead of just scoring through kills and sprinting toward the finish line. Whether it is Nebraska Huskers dominating the court or Noah Lyles maintaining his winning spree on the tracks, these two sports never fail to serve adrenaline rush to their spectators.
