Apart from bringing the stars into the limelight, it also boosts their morale as they receive widespread support on these platforms. Recently, Team USA took a similar initiative.

“Crazy” emotions ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics 

Team USA took it to Instagram and posted a couple of photos of Olympians who will be representing Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The photos also featured their thoughts about going into an Olympic year and how they look at it. The caption read, “You know what year it is.”

The 3 times world record holder, Nick Mayhugh commented, “The best is yet to come…I promise you that.” Along the same lines, the USA’s beach volleyball duo Sara Hughes and Kelly Cheng, aka, Cardinal and Gold, also expressed their excitement for “epic roller coaster rides“. Jordan Chiles joined the excitement writing, “It’s crazy to say that it’s the OLYMPIC YEAR!” Wrestling sensation Adeline Gray ended the year 2023 with “Olympic dreams and motivation.” Their thoughts instantly lightened up the comments section of the post.

Stars across the sports hype up each other 

As the post surfaced online, sports stars across the realm started rallying for Team USA. Paralympian Wheelchair rugby player, Chuck Aoki commented, “Let’s do this, USA!.While some stars cheered for the event, many were reminded about the Olympic year. Similarly, Parapan American games medalist Ezra Frech said, “Year of the Mamba,” signifying the importance of the Olympic year. Sara Hughes, set the tone writing, “Let’s go!” While Kelly Cheng only wrote “US.” Meanwhile springboard diver Tyler Down vouched for a petition.

Downs said, “Petition to have @nickiminaj merch as part of @teamusa outfitting”. This year, the USA’s Olympic team roaster will be featuring over 500 athletes across multiple sports. While some athletes have coveted their Olympic spots, some have yet to qualify for the same. The remaining athletes have to make the team through the Olympic Trials, rankings, and international results by July.
