The host steered the NFL legend towards the topic of his first meeting with Simone Biles. To this, Owens replied, saying, “I didn’t know who she was at the time but like the first thing that I saw was that she had a bunch of followers, so in my mind I was like she gotta be good”.

Simone Biles responded to the trolls with a cheeky picture with a “mood” caption from their wedding celebrations. The couple had a finger on their grinning teeth to portray nonchalance. The lovesick pair have continued their romantic saga to the present day and their bond is just as strong as the day they matched on the dating app. As soon as she found him on Raya, Biles was like, “Oh, he’s pretty cute’, so I said hi…and then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later,” and continued to feel the same way even now.

Simone Biles prefers to go by “Jonathan Owens’ wife” despite her multifaceted achievements. She has become a true example of love, and Owens considers himself lucky to have her in his life. That is all that matters for the NFL hero.
