Connor McDavid stood out from the day he made his NHL debut in the Edmonton Oilers jersey. A junior ice hockey player since 15, McDavid has already scored over 40 goals and 100 points in multiple seasons. Despite facing some significant injuries, he has continued to impress fans. His latest goal against the Seattle Krakens has broken the internet.

After tearing through the Krakens’ defense, McDavid scored an epic solo goal. After the official Twitter handle of the National Hockey League posted the clip, fans of the team couldn’t keep calm.

From one end to the other in a flash

The Edmonton Oilers captain scored his league-leading 38th goal against the Seattle Krakens in a game the Oilers won 5-2. The center forward collected the puck from his teammate on the Oilers’ side of the blue line. However, with a massive burst of speed, the player tore through the Krakens’ defensive line and sent the puck flying into the net before the goalkeeper could react.

During his blistering run, McDavid nutmegged three defenders. One defender fell, trying to keep up the center forward. The NHL posted the clip with the caption, Just typical Connor McDavid things.” Fans of the team couldn’t help but comment on McDavid’s epic goal.

Twitter users flocked to the comment section to give their opinion on the epic goal. Most fans admired the skill and talent, others cracked jokes, and a few doubted McDavid. Some fans compared the ice hockey player with Jesus. “McJesus does it again.” wrote a fan. “The power and smooth skating, combined with hockey sense and that shot. Jesus. Scary!!!” commented another fan.

“Absolutely another highlight GOAL!!!” a fan commented. Some were in disbelief of his skill. “Every time I see a clip of McDavid I think it’s fast forward, how is he so fast?” one user wrote. Another compared McDavid in NHL history with a Jedi knight from Star Wars“Good lord he’s using the force to knock players over.”

Some fans commented on Justin Schultz of the Seattle Krakens for falling. “Lol, d just falls down when they see him coming.”. Another wrote, “Schultz just needed a little nap there. Fair enough man, playing hockey do be tiring.”

However, some fans didn’t seem impressed with the goal. “Guys gunna absolutely carry his team to a first-round exit,” one fan commented. “A dude falls and the goalie lets in a softie.”. Said another, “Sure but my be a pro player owns him.”
