“My Dilemma Is Like…”: Wayne Gretzky’s Daughter Paulina Gretzky Once Opened Up on Having More Kids With Dustin Johnson

The eldest Gretzky child, Paulina Gretzky married her longtime fiancé (i.e. 9 years) Dustin Johnson this year. During their engagement, the happy couple had two children – Tatum Gretzky Johnson and River Jones Johnson born in 2015 and 2017 respectively. However, in a podcast episode of ‘Netchicks’ from 2021, Paulina revealed that she wanted to have more kids with her husband.

Sara Gretzky invited her sister-in-law Paulina Gretzky for an episode to chat about the things they love. They start the episode by discussing their shared love for reality shows like ‘Bravo’ and ‘Soul Sisters’. However, when Sara started taking Qs from listeners, one listener asked if Paulina Gretzky would have more kids with Dustin Johnson. Here’s what she had to say about it.

Paulina Gretzky’s dilemma about motherhood

In the podcast, Paulina Gretzky said, “OK! I feel like here’s the thing. I want to have one more. But like, my dilemma is whatever happens happens”. The episode took a turn here from discussing reality shows to her personal life. She was 33 years old then and believed if luck was on her side, she would love to have another child. However, she is not in the mood to rush anything and is currently enjoying her motherhood with her two sons.

She also touched on how she put on a nightie when she was pregnant for the first time with Tatum. While her two boys mean everything to her, for the 3rd child, she wishes for a girl. She said, “I would love a girl!” as if she was praying for one from the Heavens, but continued, “But I can’t just be like, ‘Hey! give me a girl'”.

Time Travelling With Paulina Gretzky

Sara completely understood her situation and proceeded to talk about Gretzky’s 2 sons. She mentions while both Tatum and River aren’t yet self-sufficient, they are still very close to their mother. Paulina Gretzky said if she time-traveled and went back 8 years, she would be clueless in her life. “I wouldn’t know what to do”, she said about her sons taking up every space in her life.

Paulina wasn’t yet married to Johnson when this podcast came out (in 2021) and slightly touched upon their decisions. She said, “We’re so in love, it feels like every day is like a…..” when Sara interrupted her by saying, “It’s just a personal choice”. Paulina and Dustin might have gotten married in 2022, but they always looked like a strong family whenever seen together. Don’t you think?
