In the NHL game, since the beginning, the New York Rangers seemed to have an upper hand after the Vancouver Canucks surrendered two early goals in the first period itself. While Canucks did not start strong at first they soon began to match the Rangers’ energy. Which resulted in their first goal, scored by Conor Garland.

While the second period was almost a repeat of the first, it was time for Canucks’ J.T. Miller, who reached a milestone of 500th points in the NHL. However, it was not enough for his team to claim the essential two points. Although the Canucks tried to equalize the score during the dying minutes of the game, the Rangers fans were already celebrating the win.
