It was an eventful evening for NHL spectators at Madison Square Garden, as the New York Rangers defeated the Vancouver Canucks, on Wednesday. In a close game, the Rangers maintained their one-goal lead until the final whistle. They won the game by 4-3, earning two important points.

However, it does not seem to be the season for the Canucks, who have had disappointing games so far. While it was a nail-biting match for the audience, many viewers shared their opinions in the game’s recent video highlights. Here is how the Rangers’ pulled a third-period win.

In the NHL game, since the beginning, the New York Rangers seemed to have an upper hand after the Vancouver Canucks surrendered two early goals in the first period itself. While Canucks did not start strong at first they soon began to match the Rangers’ energy. Which resulted in their first goal, scored by Conor Garland.

While the second period was almost a repeat of the first, it was time for Canucks’ J.T. Miller, who reached a milestone of 500th points in the NHL. However, it was not enough for his team to claim the essential two points. Although the Canucks tried to equalize the score during the dying minutes of the game, the Rangers fans were already celebrating the win.

And after the final whistle, the score remained 4-3, making cheers erupt at the stadium. While the Canucks are facing defeat after defeat, it was the Rangers’ third consecutive victory, and fans hope the winning streak continues. However, some still felt the Canucks played reasonably well but did not give their best:

A new ice hockey fan could not stop sharing their love for the game and the Rangers team:

“God I love Hockey , this is my first year watching Hockey I use to think it was wack , I guess being From America and especially NY it isn’t the Norm. But this sport is fire. I think this is one of the only sports that hasn’t been watered down. Let’s Go Rangers!!”

A fan also wished Miller for his 500 NHL points:

“Congratulations to JT Miller 500 points in the greatest league in the world.”

And yet again, fans were mesmerized by the famous announcer Sam Rosen’s commentary:

“I really wish Sam would never retire. Can’t even picture what a Rangers game would sound like. Great win boy’s”
