When it comes to wedding planning seems like Paulina, the eldest daughter of Wayne Gretzky, is an all-rounder. On 23rd April 2022, the ice hockey legend’s daughter married her long-time fiance and golf star, Dustin Johnson. The couple had a luxurious and romantic ceremony in Tennessee. Paulina and Johnson have lived with each other for years now, and often share their duties.

But, it was the bride, who planned the entire wedding on her own. Almost a month later, during a golf press conference, Johnson revealed the lone task he did at the wedding.

In May 2022, Dustin Johnson competed at the 2022 PGA Championship. As it had been less than a month since his wedding with Paulina, questions about the ceremony were unavoidable.

Hence, when a reporter asked Johnson if his wedding preparations had caused any distraction from his golf tours, the proud husband replied with a ‘No‘. Johnson credited his wife for taking the pressure off him and revealed he only had one job at the wedding. “Paulina did an unbelievable job with the wedding. I really didn’t have to do much, I helped for about half an hour with the seating chart, that was about it. That was my whole contribution,” confessed the pro golfer.

Paulina and Johnson met each other back in 2013 and also, are parents to two sons, Tatum and River. It is obvious that the mother of two had big plans for her wedding and wanted it to be perfect. In fact, Paulina also took inspiration from a pop icon to plan her splendid wedding ceremony.

Just like one would expect a Gretzky wedding to be like, Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson’s wedding ceremony was ‘picture-perfect’. Months before the wedding, people and media had started speculating that the long-term couple planned to tie the knot soon. Further, Paulina added more to these speculations when she uploaded a Lady Gaga meme on her social media.

In the video, the famous singer rambles a train of compliments, “Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same….” and so on. In the caption, Paulina wrote, “Me explaining my vision to my wedding planner.” Nearly a year before the wedding, the couple was also spotted shopping for their wedding dresses with designer Vera Wang.
