Ottawa Senators are on a victory cruise, as they have successfully sailed past their two top NHL rivals. In their recent match against the Montreal Canadiens, the Senators registered a 5–0 win, leaving everyone stunned. While in the previous game, they had beaten the Toronto Maple Leafs by a massive 6–2 margin.

In a Facebook post on the official Ottawa Senators page, most of the fans were delighted to see their team beat the “habs” (Montreal Canadiens) and wrote,

The Senators’ goaltender, Anton Forsberg had an incredible game against the Canadians as he made a total of 28 saves on the goalpost, helping the team win with a clean sheet. The fans could not stop admiring his performance and commented,

While Forsberg was the star of the game, right winger Claude Giroux scored two goals and one assist, to help his team produce a glorious win. The Ottawa Senators will again face the Montreal Canadiens for their next match, on February 1st at the Bell Center.
