Despite being born in the house of an NHL legend, Paulina Gretzky, daughter of Wayne Gretzky, has made a name for herself. Starting out as a successful model at a young age, Paulina also found bliss in her personal life. She married Dustin Johnson, a professional golfer, this year after being engaged for more than 9 years. At their wedding ceremony, Paulina initially tried to keep things personal, but later shared a deeply personal note from her hubby.

Paulina Gretzky got married to Dustin Johnson on April 23rd, 2022 at the Blackberry Farm – a luxury hotel that was tucked away in the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. The wedding was a relatively private ceremony. However, when Johnson shared that emotional note, Pauline was over the moon, and couldn’t wait to share it.

As per an Insider article, Dustin Johnson’s handwritten note read, “Paulina, you are the love of my life. I’m counting the seconds until I marry you”. He continued, “I love you to the moon and back”. With this lovely gesture, Johnson definitely won her heart for life.

Their wedding in itself was a glitzy and expensive affair. From Paulina Gretzky’s Vera Wang dress from New York to having specially monogrammed golf carts and a flower wreath adorning the roof, it was all but a clumsy affair. Gretzky along with her sister-in-law reached the venue in a private jet. There awaited her man of the moment and with him the surprise note.

Paulina and Johnson met way back in 2009 and immediately started dating. Seven months later, they were engaged and started a family together. Paulina got more intrinsically linked with sports, and now transitioned from Ice Hockey to Golf. Never shy of public appearances, Paulina has graced her presence on the Golf course multiple times to support her husband.

Gretzky has previously received online flak from certain sections of people due to having children outside wedlock. She has always stood firm by calling it her personal choice. They officially became ‘Mr. & Mrs’ which should ideally close any more questions on their personal life.
