Snowboarding nearly killed Shaun White
Back in 2018, while preparing for his Olympic appearance in Pyeongchang, White had the worst crash of his life. The magical man was trying out a difficult trick and misjudged his position, leading to an ugly gash on the forehead and a cut on the upper lip.
Notably, White had to get over 60 stitches on his face. He was horrified after the incident and claimed he couldn’t even look at his own self.

While there is always the risk of life attached to the sport, it makes it even more inspiring that Shaun is still dominating the game after all this time.
Notably, he will now compete at his last Olympic Games in Beijing. Although Nina will still be ‘nervous’ to watch him perform, she will certainly cheer for him with all her might. Will White claim a medal in his historic fifth appearance on the global stage?
