Frech garnered global admiration after clinching the men’s high jump T63 title at the 2023 Para Athletics World Championships, and his latest social media post further endeared him to supporters. Overcoming various challenges in his journey, the young dynamo has chosen a surprising training partner—renowned US comedian Kevin Hart.

On October 30th, NBC Olympics and Paralympics shared a tweet featuring a video of Frech and Victor Montalvo, captioned, “Paralympian Ezra Frech and B-Boy Victor Montalvo are calling out which celebrities they would want to train in their sport.” Frech expressed, “If I could train a celebrity or an athlete in my sport, I would say I would wanna teach Kevin Hart to high jump and long jump. I think that would be quite fun.”

A few months ago, Frech boldly declared, “My short-term goal is to win gold at the Paralympics in Paris,” revealing a profound determination to make a lasting impact on the world. Born with multiple physical disabilities, Ezra’s left leg, missing a knee and fibula, posed significant challenges. By the age of three, he underwent crucial surgery—amputating the non-functioning portion of his left leg and attaching a toe to his left hand. This transformative surgery facilitated better prosthetic fitting and enhanced functionality.
