Being an Olympic champion comes with a lot of media attention and often athletes have to steal little moments to spend with their loved ones. The American star skater Nathan Chen is doing exactly the same. After a tireless journey, that brought him a gold medal in Beijing, he is enjoying a little time off skates.

The 22-year-old figure skater is currently the superstar of America, which he very well deserves as he has brought home Olympic gold for the country in figure skating after a decade. Nathan still has some time left from starting his world championship preparation, happening in France later this month. Hence, he made the best out of that little time he had.

The Olympic champion is happiest when he is around his family. Amidst all the interviews and media running after him for questions, he took some time to hang out with his siblings, Colin Chen and Janice Chen, at the Universal Studios Hollywood. He has shared the pictures of his little trip with the siblings on his Instagram handle.

The next big figure skating competition after the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 is the world championship in France this month. Along with the recent Olympic champion title, Nathan Chen is also a three-time world champion and has held this title since 2018. The chances of him winning his fourth consecutive world championship title are high as the Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu has withdrawn his name from the championship.

Yuzuru is suffering from an ankle injury since the Beijing Winter Olympics. In fact, he was injured during his final performance in the men’s figure skating short programme as well.
