The Winter Olympics fame Shaun White, and Hollywood actress, Nina Dobrev, started dating in 2020. Notably, while the pandemic wrecked havoc across the globe, they helped each other cope with it all.

In a heartwarming confession, Shaun had given Dobrev the title of his ‘lifesaver’ during the pandemic. Recalling how even in the toughest of time times they found new ways to build their relationship, Shaun revealed the adorable gesture he made for Nina.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ fame, Nina Dobrev had always wanted to re-paint her home on her own. Hence, boyfriend Shaun White made her wish come true by helping her give a quarantine make-over to her 1920s lavish home. The Winter Olympics champion turned painter for the day for his lady love.

White revealed, ”We went to the hardware store, bought a bunch of paint and brushes and definitely got in over our heads, but it was really fun.” 

Nina also revealed that it took them forever to complete the house, but in the end, it turned out to be beautiful.

The Hollywood actress wanted to keep the house authentic to its architecture

Nina wanted to re-do the house without changing its original style. “It was really important to me because the house was built in the 1920s, I wanted to pay respect to the original architecture and the Spanish-style influence,” she said.

She further added, ”Even though we were redoing things, I wanted to use materials that were organic and felt like they could’ve belonged to the home before, while still refreshing and giving the house a facelift.”
