The 2019 National Champion Spencer Lee’s leg injury made him forfeit his remaining matches at the US Open in April. Lee’s incredible prowess to end matches in the blink of an eye made him an obvious favorite at the Bill Farrell International.
The University of Iowa student took down Penn State’s Nico Megaludis in a 7-4 decision win to affirm his position at the 2024 Olympics trials. Megaludis is a formidable wrestler and trumping him would provide a whole lot of confidence boost to Lee’s upcoming challenges.
