Tony Hawk received a one-time offer to give royalties on his game

Last year in an interview with Flagrant, Tony Hawk revealed how he was offered half a million dollars for the royalties of the game. He said, “Right before the release they called me and said we want to offer you a buyout for future royalties” Both the interviewers laughed after listening to this.

Tony further revealed that the offered amount was very appealing to him. He added, “At that time, half a million dollars sounded like a gazillion billion dollars.” However, he did not fall into greed.
