Will USA’s Skateboarding World Champion Nyjah Huston Get His Tokyo Olympics Redemption in Paris?

Tagged as one of the world’s highest-paid skateboarders, Nyjah Huston is a highly anticipated American skateboarder for the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024. Qualifying back in 2022 for the Paris Olympics that were scheduled to be held this year, the star skateboarder won the hearts of skateboarding enthusiasts well in advance. Still dominating the streets to this day, the US athlete Nyjah Huston won the men’s semi-finals in Rome.

After he won the hearts of many, he is ready to leave his mark in the French capital this year. Captioned, “Another Olympic Village to ride ?” the official page of Paris 2024 on Instagram is hoping to repeat his legacy of being the number one skateboarder. Though he stood seventh in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, he is presently all set for the crowd cheers this season. And, only a few months are now remaining, to see the spectacular Nyjah Huston.

The skateboarder competed at the World Street Skateboarding Pro Tournament and scored 279.43 to win by approximately 3.5 points at the age of 27. Conquering six world titles, the now-29 years old star, dreams of adding an Olympic medal to his collection of trophies this year. He quoted in a post-event interview regarding the same, stating, “It’s a good start to the year, that’s for sure. I think I’ve got a good chance of making another one.”

The Paris Olympics finale is scheduled in the iconic venue of Place de la Concorde this summer. Excited for the 2024 adventure, the Instagram post also mentioned him saying, “It will be nice to experience a more normal Olympics and have the crowd, have the energy of fans. It will be a lot better feeling out there.” Turning professional only at the age of 11, the California star holds to his father’s dream of accomplishing early in skateboarding. Winning the most prize money than anyone in the history of skateboarding, he targets to continue his stardom by winning an Olympic title this year.
