Sometimes, however, accidents do occur. She previously has gone through 10 surgeries and 19 screws in her arm in the past. The numbers racked up are horrible and so is the excruciating pain. Even after retiring, the athlete has to go through various knee surgeries.

Along similar lines, once again, Vonn left the world in disbelief with her new concerning health update. A recent social media post by an American skiing queen has gone viral and is currently making the headlines. The picture, caption, and Vonn’s replies are heartbreaking for her fans. Supporters have chimed in, adding words of admiration for her past. It has single-handedly united the masses to shower her with a speedy convalescence.

On 4th November 2023, the athlete took to her social media handle and added a new post on her Threads account. She added a new image showcasing her legs, undergoing cupping therapy. Though this doesn’t cause as much pain as surgery, the redness and the subsequent soreness are irretrievably painful. And it is completely visible in Vonn highlights. It is mainly done after surgeries to relieve conditions that cause toughness or pain. Von captioned it, “Gonna look great this weekend (laughing emoji).”

This is not the first time Vonn has shared her knee updates with her fans. She has previously shared her painful revelation of various surgeries and checkups. From MRIs to getting attacked to getting stung by a massive jellyfish, 39-year-old Vonn has kept everything transparent with her digital community.

As the picture went viral, fans reverberated their thoughts and prayers in the comment section and added words of support for the athlete. Many supported her situation, while on the other hand, some were shocked at how, after retiring, athletes have to often go through such agonizing moments of physical and mental duress.
