Mikaela Shiffrin’s boyfriend Aleksander Aamodt Kilde is a Norwegian World Cup alpine ski racer. However, before choosing skiing as his career, Kilde had interest in football as well. Growing up, he realized that he had to choose one between the two sports and he chose Skiing. During an interview with Pure Wow in 2022, Kilde stated;

“Obviously, playing in a stadium with thousands of spectators would be amazing, but the feeling I have every time I drop out of the start gate is unbeatable.”
