In 2018, Chloe Kim became the youngest female snowboarder to win a Gold Medal. She was just 17 years old then. Cut to 2022, Kim grabbed her 2nd Olympic Gold Medal in the halfpipe. And lo-and-behold, the snowboarding world had a new queen who was ready to take over.

Before the Olympics, Chloe Kim also won a record number of 6 X Games. In addition, she is also a 2-time champion of the Youth Winter Olympic Games. Kim knows her way with the snowboard quite well. In fact in Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, her very first run was enough for her to win the medal.

However, Chloe Kim has made it clear that she will go for a 3rd medal. If Kim wins the 3rd Gold, she will become the first woman to win 3 Olympic Golds in snowboarding.

“I just want to enjoy this moment, take it all in and then get back to it when I’m feeling ready. But as of now, the plan is most definitely to go after a third medal,” said the snow queen.

She will take this time off and concentrate on herself. Hopefully, she will be back soon, and we wish her the very best for the future.
