Ralph Lauren is a known name in sports circles. The fashion company is an official outfitter and sponsor of various teams, clubs, and leagues like the United States Olympic and Paralympic teams. In its effort to further its association with the Olympics, the company has signed an agreement to be Los Angles 2028 Olympics, official outfitter.

In that regard, recently it unveiled a custom emblem for the 2028 Olympics and Para Olympics games.  At the launch, Shaun White the five-time olympian was present for promotion. The emblem was launched amid excitement from both the company and the LA28. LA28 is the ono-profit organization tasked with organizing the 2028 Olympic games. The launch of the emblem happened exactly one year before the 2024 Olympics and five years before the 2028 Olympics.

The LA28 and Ralph Lauren launched the emblem for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games on Wednesday. The unique design of the emblem is a reimaging of the  1990s iconic Ralph Lauren P-wing symbol. In the emblem, the A is set against L of LA28 with 2 and 8 in the background along with Olympic rings. The emblem is designed keeping in mind the flexibility and diversity that Los Angles represents through its stories of self-expression and creativity.

At the launch, the five-time Olympian and skiing legend Shaun White was present along with team US members. Shaun is really excited about the next year’s Summer Olympics and is rooting for LA28. Speaking at the launch of the Olympics he said, “Bring people together from all over“. He was also excited about Ralph Lauren unveiling the emblem, a brand with whom he has a long association.

The senior vice president of LA28, customer product said, “We’re thrilled to release this latest custom design with Ralph Lauren, a true icon in the Movement who shares our drive to think differently, collaborate, and connect more deeply with the next generation of fans and athletes.”

Ralph Lauren has released a  special collection of apparel with the LA28emblem. The first product was the denim jacket that Shaun White was seen sporting at the company’s store in Beverly Hills, California.

Ralph Lauren is the official outfitter of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. It has been the official outfitter for the team US in the Olympics since Beijing Olympics 2008. Thus, with its agreement with LA28, it has extended its 20-year relationship. This sponsorship deal will only strengthen the LA28 efforts and play a major role in fostering support from the public for the event.

At the launch of the custom logo Chris Pepe, Chief Commercial Officer of LA28 reflected on how the organization is trying to do new things through groundbreaking activities with the sponsors. Speaking on Ralph Lauren the Chief said, “We’re excited when our longstanding partners come to table with us, and we lock arms and do great things together.”

The launch of Emblem and Shaun White’s promotion of the apparel the LA28 will get the exposure to garner support and promote the mega event.
