It has proved to be an eventful holiday season for Shaun White. He was most recently at the St. Regis Resort in Aspen, Colorado. Joining him, there was his longtime girlfriend and movie star Nina Dobrev, as well as a few other friends. White was in his element in more ways than one, given his past as a five-time Olympian and the snowy slopes there.

“The Flying Tomato” made his name in multiple sports. While Shaun White is more well-known for his exploits in the half-pipe, he was also an expert skateboarder. He won the Olympic gold three times in snowboarding, in 2006, 2010, and 2018, and added medals in vertical skateboarding at the Winter X Games, too. White added another sport to his already extensive repertoire this winter.

Snow polo for the power couple

Shaun White shared a series of reels and images via an Instagram story from Aspen. In some of them, he could be seen trying his hand at playing polo in the snow. One image had White and Dobrev astride their respective steeds facing the camera, oozing elan and spunk. There was another image featuring the equines that had other friends and acquaintances included.

Aside from those images, there was a short reel of Shaun White dancing. In another image, there was a Bernese mountain dog beside the power couple of White and Dobrev. Almost all the images and reels had the St. Regis Hotel chain and the Aspen Resort, in particular, tagged alongside. Two of them had the famous brand Ralph Lauren tagged, too. That was not all, however.

Reels featuring Shaun White’s former areas of expertise

In the Instagram story, Shaun White also shared a reel from the Instagram account @thebombhole. That reel had someone on a skateboard. Moreover, there were a couple of reels shared by Kendall Jenner. Both featured people on a snowboard, executing moves that White would have applauded. He shared his admiration for those moves with the words, “So fun. You killed it.”

Shaun White is keeping himself busy in other ways now that he no longer has to worry about competing in his chosen sport. He has been a guest on many a podcast. Apart from that, he is running the apparel and sporting gear company Whitespace. He also found time to help his lady love secure a role in ‘The Out-Laws.’ She, in turn, offered her insight for his docuseries, ‘The Last Run.’ The pertinent question is: what lies ahead for the power couple?
