Shaun White is a retired American professional snowboarder. He is a five-time Olympian and a three-time Olympic gold medalist in half-pipe snowboarding. White retired just eight months ago after the 2022 Beijing Olympics. Now he wants to focus on his relationship with his Vampire Diaries star girlfriend.

Having been together since March 2020, actress Nina Dobrev and former Olympian Shaun White garner immense attention from their fanbase. People still wonder how these two got together and are still going strong. But what’s next in their story? White answered this question at the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Gala on October 27, 2022.

“Time will tell,” White said and continued, “Things are great with Nina and I, and I am so excited to focus on our relationship and my relationship with other friends and family.” It looks like the former Olympian is waiting for the right time. He isn’t rushing things between himself and his girlfriend.

At the Gold Medal Gala. White received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Due to his incredible achievements in snowboarding, he has been getting numerous awards even after his retirement.
