One of the easternmost provinces of Canada, also one of the coldest in the region, is Newfoundland and Labrador. Ideal for winter sports, thick snow covers the landscape for prolonged periods of time during winter. Utilizing this opportunity, a man was outdoors with his full gear, snowboarding in the region. Accompanying him was his dog (possibly a Siberian Husky or Alaskan Malamute) in his adventure in the extreme weather. Fans are delighted by this video and the winter landscapes per se. Fans take a trip down memory lane after watching the snowboarding video
A Reddit user r/snowboarding shared the video with the caption, “Fresh turns with the dog on the beach! Feb 14, 2023”. The entire landscape is snow-laden up until the beach where the thin strip of sand quickly leads to the ocean. Here’s how fans reacted to the video:
“Awesome place. I stayed in Goose Bay for a month last winter fixing a jet that diverted there. The local transit operator was super into snowboarding and just a really nice guy”.
“A band called Protest the Hero wrote a song about how much they love Newfoundland. I have an element of that song tattooed on my arm and I look forward to the day I get the opportunity to visit”.
Besides being an Olympic sport, which gives it an extra competitive edge, people also try out snowboarding for being a fun activity during winter. One such person, who tried and shared her experience, was a Hollywood actor and former girlfriend of a professional snowboarder.

Nina Dobrev, who was with her boyfriend Shaun White, tried snowboarding with him in 2021. White, a three-time Olympic gold medalist in halfpipe snowboarding, had a little date with his girlfriend Dobrev in the mountains. Despite having fun, the snowboarding experience for her ended with an injury to her left hand.
Shaun White won his third halfpipe gold at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in 2018, despite suffering facial injuries prior to the event. He last competed at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, which was his final event. White may have retired from competitive snowboarding, but the beauty of the sport continues to fascinate people.
