The winters may be chilling, but for snowboarding legend and skateboarder Shaun White, it is the ideal time for a vacation gateway. Flying to the poles to spend the new year with lady love Nina Dobrev, the retired maestro has finally found the “cutest” pair in Antarctica. After announcing his retirement from the sport post the 2022 Beijing Olympics, the winter Olympics legend is having the best time with one of the world’s most cute species.

Smiling brightest for the cameras as Shaun and Nina posed, the Olympia gold medalist announced the “cutest” person in the frame. Though the answer can be debated, but the adorable snap is enough to melt hearts.

Snowboarding legend Shaun White makes his answer loud and clear 

After spending 20 glorious years snowboarding, Olympian Shaun White made his fans emotional as he hinted Beijing Olympics to be his last possible appearance. Aged 35, the star athlete, in a moving speech, remarked, “… I think this is will be my last — well, it will be my last competition. Which is pretty special too.”

He may be now away from the competitions, but he is sure enjoying his time with his loved ones. Welcoming the new year in style, he teamed up with Vampire Diaries fame Nina Dobrev to visit the most exciting places on earth. Going strong since 2020, the couple is now in Antarctica, along with the penguins having the most amazing winter gateway.

Sharing the snap with the group of cute birds, Shaun wrote, “So F-ing cuteeee!!!” However, he soon cleared that he was addressing him and Nina as the ‘cute ones’ and not the birds, “Nina and I obviously… not the penguins.” Dressed in jackets and winter hats, the couple looked adorable. Needless to say, the two are living proof that sometimes the most unexpected people make the best couples. Coming from two diverse backgrounds, the two instantly connected and are going strong.

Spending the new year in style 

Being hailed as one of the most decorated Winter Olympians, Shaun does know how to make a style statement. Channelizing quirky sense of humor on the eve of the New Year, the retired sporting legend wrote, “Guy retires from winter sports only to vacation in Antarctica 🤦🏻‍♂️ Happy 2023 everyone!!” Dressed in a black tuxedo, Shaun flexed his inner Bond perfectly.

After having dedicated years to professional commitments, Shaun now spends his time traveling. Surprising fans, he marked his presence at the 2022 Oscars and even presented one. He, along with his girlfriend Nina, is touring extensively across the world. Before flying to Antarctica, the two visited Monaco, Dubai, and Maldives.
